Phil Nguyen is the Founder and Managing Partner of EdChiefs, a strategic consulting firm deeply committed to paving pathways to sustainable cross-generational wealth for entrepreneurs of color and social impact leaders across the education ecosystem. Through this work, Phil has supported the growth and scale of 52+ early-stage Nonprofits, EdTech Companies, Foundations, and Social Impact Organizations through equity-centered partner acquisition, diverse revenue channel amplification, and strategic market innovations. Phil's impact has been recognized on a national level by the National Alliance of Public Charter Schools, Forbes, Harvard, and the American Consortium for Equity in Education.

Phil comes to this space with robust experience as a former educator, school and district administrator, edtech executive, and first-generation entrepreneur. He most recently served as the National Vice President of Innovation and Partnerships at Reading Partners, and Executive Director of Partnerships for the National Aspiring Principals Fellowship at New Leaders where he led the growth and expansion of both organization's impact across the nation.  In addition to his full time capacity, Phil serves as a Board Member for the National Center for Teacher Residencies, and Board Treasurer for the National Center for Civil and Human Rights - LGBTQIA Institute. Phil is a proud first-generation college student graduating with his Bachelor of Science from Washington State University, Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University, and Master of Education in School Leadership and Development from Harvard University.
