Betsy has more than 20 years' experience in brand and reputation management, PR and corporate communications. Today she leads a team of publicists, fire fighters, storytellers and strategic communications counselors at Delta Air Lines who spend their days -- and plenty of nights -- working to amplify and protect Delta's reputation. They put a megaphone to the hard work teams across the company are doing every day to illuminate Delta as not just the leading airline but a trusted, people-first, valued-led brand.

Betsy began her career at a small agency in Florida doing PR for hotels, resorts and destinations before moving to Atlanta where she joined Ketchum. The experience there included PR for clients across multiple industries including finance, technology and telecom. It was while at Ketchum that Betsy first began working with Delta. The move in 2002 to Delta - the corporate side of communications - was one she assumed would be a short-lived resume builder. More than 18 years later she is even more passionate about Delta's culture and mission to connect the world.

Betsy is a graduate of Florida State University. Today she lives just outside of Decatur, GA with her wife and two young sons. Together they joyfully juggle two careers, a visceral pull to the beach, unrequited interest in urban homesteading and the boys' passions for soccer, baseball, music and animals.
